My dad was in the airforce at the end of world war 2 . We celebrated his birthday when he became 75 he was married to my mom. She went long before he did. He finally passed away at 86 dec 14th 2015. at his funeral they gave him a really nice military send off.

awesome blingee, a real hero ,  my dad was a MP in the World War 2 war.   He passed away young.  in his 50's .  Nice tribute to your Dad.
