My name is Camille and I live in Bellingham, Wa. I have four married children, 13 grandchildren, and SIX great-grandchildren who all live in New Hampshire. My family is my Heart and Soul.
I love being creative, but I can not draw a straight line so Blingee is my outlet for my creativeness.

My outward facade does not define who I am.
One cannot see my dreams, goals, failures, hopes, and fears.
My “person” has as many parts as a flower.
Petals unfolding and revealing a new color, texture, form, and scent.
My painting would be of a garden of flowers.

I am searching for valid answers.

School has made me intellectual, curious, clever, and sensitive.

Although, I feel happy most of the time, I am afraid of growing old and dying in the dark alone.
I am fun loving, laid back, and rushed.
However, I would like to see daybreak from Saturn.
I enjoy reading books, surfing the Internet, and old films.
Presently, I feel under pressure, afraid of not being a
good enough student.

The mature me is less unsure of herself.
I loathe ignorance, apathy, and hatred.
A garden neglected will die.
I sense the burden of the world on my shoulders.
I worry about the devastation of a nuclear holocaust.
I weep for the death and poverty in the world

I identify the exasperation of not having the ability to do something effortlessly.
I dream of traveling to other points in the world.
I reach out to underprivileged and starving children.
I have an expectation that humankind will be in harmony.

Therefore, my self-portrait is like a painting of a garden of flowers.
Each day a petal falls and reveals a new part of me.
I am constantly changing. I will be different in the
next minute just as the flowers change.
However, I will still be me.
Until all the petals fall.

MY PAINTING

My watercolor garden painting is painted in soft muted colors, because life is not black and white.
The garden will include lilacs, blue, white and purple, wind beaten, and staggering under a lopsided shock of bloom, representing my return to education.
Hyacinths, blues and purples for they will be my soul.
Primroses represent new beginnings in life.
Poppies are seed vessels, and I am a vessel of knowledge.
Proud roses of red, yellow, and purple signify my new beginning of enrolling in school, and my garden has bloomed beautifully.
Finally, poetry because I believe it is the flower of any kind of experience, rooted in truth, and issuing forth into beauty.
