ERCASSIEL'S ELEGY (Leva's Legacy, Part 1 of 4)

[Created 1/29/09]  ---------------------------------------------------------  BLINGEE TITLE:  ERCASSIEL'S ELEGY.    ------------------------------------  CAPTION:  All her life she has labored, unrelenting, on the music that will define her soul.  Even at her still-young age she feels the crush of time as her work comes to obsess, even possess, her every waking moment.  As a small child locked away in music lessons, the music of the spheres incubated within while her playmates chased mere dandelions on the wind.  Finding no solace in such carefree pursuits, her toils have taken their toll and she is come undone.  No matter how hard she tries to seduce the music to the page, it eludes her still.  All the days and nights filled with fevered focus have resulted in a pile of abused and broken instruments.  And though they served her well, she weeps with exhaustion.  But look!  The Fates have taken pity on her sorrow.  And while she weeps the Fates shower her with rose petals that magically provide the sheet music that will become her masterpiece.  For it is that these petals give her signs of the roses which someday will be hurled at her feet by adoring masses as she performs her masterpiece for them.  -------------------------------------------PURPOSE: This is the 1st in a 4 part blingee collection I call *Leva's Legacy* and I created this collection as tribute to Ercassiel/Leva, my favorite blingster whose talent is unsurpassed even beyond Blingee Land.  You can see her awesome blingees at: http://blingee.com/profile/Ercassiel.  -------------------------------------------GLOSSARY: 'Elegy', as a music term, is a lament, either vocal or instrumental.   -----------------------------------------------------------------  CREDITS: Jean-Paul Avisse is the artist of this original artwork titled "Unfinished Song"; more of his gorgeous work can be viewed here:  http://www.prestigeart.com/AvissePages/AvisseMain1.htm.
