If you are born in June you have a lot of things to celebrate this month. first is on the 5th which, believe it or not, is national doughnut day in the USA not sure why, but it is. Well silly me I forgot to put a bride and groom because more marriages happen in the month of June than at any other time of the year. On the 6th of June is D-Day the day the allies landed in Normandy and made France free from Hitler and gave them back their independence so many lost their lives that day especially on Omaha Beach, My dad had a cousin that received a purple heart for the wounds he encountered that day, on that fateful beach. What hero's they were. Nothing that I saw on any news even mentioned it here in the USA. How sad. The next holiday is another important one which is Flag Day on the 14th of June, also this month, although I didn't put it in this one the President of the United States Donald Trump has a birthday on Flag Day. Then there is Father's Day always held on the 3rd Sunday in June. Besides all the birthdays of wonderful people who celebrate their birthdays this month, there is the flower of the month and the birthstone of the month as well. The flower for June is one of my favorites the Rose I just love roses. and another favorite of mine is the birthstone for the month which is a Pearl or pearls. Wishing all who have a birthday this month a very Happy and BLessed Birthday indeed.
