Happy Birthday to those born in April. Here is a little about your birthday. On April 1 is April Fool's Day. This is a very odd day indeed because when looking up its history the best fool is that know one knows when it first started or why.The only thing we do know is that is really, really, really old like ancient! A fun day of people doing funny things to people like telling them something is there that isn't or a story that isn't real but make them believe it before saying April Fool! The next holiday is The Divine Mercy Devotion Which is a Roman Catholic Holy day. One perhaps all Christians should think about honoring. It is a day that is a reminder of what Christians have always taught through scripture: that God is merciful and forgiving and that we, too, must show mercy and forgiveness. But in the Divine Mercy devotion, the message takes on a powerful new focus, calling people to a deeper understanding that God’s love is unlimited and available to everyone — especially the greatest sinners. The message of mercy is that God loves us — all of us —no matter how great our sins. He wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all will come to share His joy. It is a message we can call to mind simply by remembering ABC. A.Ask for His Mercy. God wants us to come to Him and pray to Him constantly. B. Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let it flow through us to others. He wants us to extend love and forgiveness to others just as He does to us. C.Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that the graces of His mercy are dependent upon our trust. The more we trust in Jesus, the more we will receive. Two Scripture texts but many more could be found.. One I like is "Love your neighbor as yourself." The two used for this day are : "This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me" (Is 29:13); and Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Mt. 5:7). This are seen in the Jesus with child and the dove and Bible. The next holiday in April is Arbor day the day when a whole lot of trees are given away and planted. NOW for your birthday flowers, birthstone and oh yeah food of the month. The flowers are the daisy and sweet pea the birthstone is a diamond and the special food is this month is strawberries. No birthday is complete without Cake and Ice cream and nice beverage in the honor of the strawberries for the months food there is a nice strawberry drink.
