Den Lille Havfrue (Danmark)

♒ "The Little Mermaid" (in Danish: Den lille havfrue) is a popular fairy tale by the Danish poet and author Hans Christian Andersen about a young mermaid who wants to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul and the love of a human prince. ♒ originally written as a ballet, the tale was first published in 1837 and has been adapted to various media including musical theatre and animated film. ♒♒ Ariel: "Up where they walk. Up where they run. Up where they stay all day in the sun. Wanderin' free. Wish I could be... Part of that world... " ♓ Ariel: "I don't know when. I don't know how. But I know something's starting right now. Watch and you'll see. Some day I'll be... Part of your world." ♒ These are quotes from the song "Part of your World" of the Diseny's film "The Little Mermaid" ♒♒ Ahah! Why every single time I think about Denmark as a mermaid*cof cof* I mean as a meman?! and in my mind he jumps around like that with a stupid smile on his face xD I wanted to put a draw of him as a meman... but the style of the fanarts I found didn't work well with how I wanted to make the blingee =| ♓ Btw returning serious: I really love this story, I think it's one of my favourites -w- The Disney film is also great too. Btw of the song I still prefer the Italian version x3 Lode e Gloria all'Italiano! ♒ Ariel: "Vedrai anch'io, la gente che al sole sempre sta, come vorrei essere là, senza un perchè, in libertà" ♓ Ariel: "Ma un giorno anch'io, se mai potrò, esplorerò la riva lassù... fuori dal mar... come vorrei... vivere là" ♒♒
